SUSAN COLLA BIOGRAPHY: Susan is a talented artist and voice teacher in Ventura, California. She is involved with the kids in our fund raising cause: Music & Art For Youth.    >>>>See 9 Year Old Scholarship Student Antonio: Music & Art For Youth    After 30 years of teaching and singing she unexpectedly met a fork in the road. Not wanting to give up singing and teaching, she needed to focus on some unexpected physical life challenges. So she picked up her graphite pencil one day and began an incredible art career. Susan has never been far away from her childhood roots as a singer either. She had the desire for the arts since nine years old. She enjoys to perform with the love that she has for her repertoire in a jazz spin. You will also enjoy her visual arts with her focus on rendering life-like detailed images of wild art, landscapes, trees, and other alternate subjects. She amazingly draws with graphite pencil. Susan especially loves drawing elephants, and other interesting imagery that "speaks" to her of the wild life. Working from photos that show minute details enables her to reproduce this unique realistic art form. Her art has been licensed for reproduction by some amazingly great photographers.
